I am very happy to see OpenID is getting much more recognition and attention in Korea recently. Although Korea has very short histroy of OpenID since early this year, she already has 5 OPs and tens of RPS in there.
The biggest issue here is that Textcube (Wordpress or MovableType of Korea) has adopted OpenID as its basic plugin. Anyone installed it can signin as an administrator to his own blog, and can have OpenID-enabled comment system for every post.
As an OpenID Provider myself called IDtail, I can notice the impact of TextCube in the increase of membership. Recently daily new membership almost doubles the usual one.
Rumor says that both no.1 portal and no.1 SNS in Korea are becoming OP soon following Daum (the 2nd biggest portal in Korea) 's becoming OP a month ago. Much bigger news are expected to be announced, I guess.
